Perspectives of Christmas-Web Title

This year we will look at Christmas from the perspective of 4 individuals that we hear less about. Simeon and Anna were fixtures in the temple when Mary and Joseph arrived to sacrifice and to present Jesus. Elizabeth, Mary’s cousin, was pregnant with John the Baptist when Mary went to visit her. These 3 individuals loved God and were blessed to see the coming of Messiah. But the last individual we will deal with was terrified at the birth of Messiah. Herod did everything in his power to destroy Jesus. All four of these individuals add a unique perspective to the Christmas story that is worth exploring.
